The birth of “urushi”: 3D printing meets traditional Japanese lacquer art

Kabuku Inc. and Studio Shikumi Inc. are pleased to release the new seasonal craftsmanship theme: urushi, combining 3D printing technology and traditional lacquer art at Rinkak marketplace from April 27th.


The new theme: urushi is a new 3D printing renovated project applying natural lacquer art. To inspire creators to explore new design field, Rinkak marketplace invited 3 creator groups to present 8 unique and modern art pieces with strong design personality.

About urushi:
